Like you did, I struggled with depression. Hope to touch base here more in the days to come. You are a gifted writer and communicator!

Blessings brother!Davenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4319325003281944014.post-63529947626267826812009-12-04T09:05:54.509-08:002009-12-04T09:05:54.509-08:00Wow Dave, the Lord really used this message to bui...Wow Dave, the Lord really used this message to build my faith at the moment. I was just given an ultimatum (as I was reading this) and I could be feeling a lot of pressure right now if I thought this was a problem I had to solve, but this life is not my own.
(1 Cor. 6:20)
This part really spoke peace to my heart, "As for apprehensions for an uncertain future, since I am now born-again, an adopted son of God the provisions that myself and my family needs is no longer for me to be concerned about. Simply receive what is offered or follow holy desires and God provides our needs on the paths that He leads us on."
This is actually one of the first times, (since learning about union life Gal. 2:20, and the life I now live by the power of His resurrection), that I am excited to see what God is going to do!
-MegMeganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01624493654172219564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4319325003281944014.post-46480159789552133342009-12-04T08:41:44.606-08:002009-12-04T08:41:44.606-08:00That's awesome, man! Only the religious answers are dressed up with God's name and seem like they should "work" better, but in the end it's no different. It's often quite humanistic, in that, as you say, we trust Christ to get us saved, but from that point on it's our own human efforts that 'keep' us.

Many Christians know religion, but they haven't experienced true Life. I'm not saying this to be down on anybody. My real hope is that Christians all over the world would get off the religious treadmill and truly experience the life of Christ!

Hey Dave... great hearing your voice in the IGP today!Joel Bruesekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10395847887953875757noreply@blogger.com
